RESERVATIONS:
Call the cafe & leave message on machine with the date of the requested reservation, a callback # WITH area code, the number of peeps in your party AND an EXACT time for the reservation. The Rocking V Cafe has a brutal "NO 'ISH' rule". If you follow these intructions there is a pretty good chance that you are assured a live human will get the message & hopefully write your request on the proper day & at the proper time, for the proper # of peeps.
REMEMBER: Arizona does NOT participate in Daylight Savings Time...so it is 1 hour BEHIND Utah on your watch. If you are visiting us from the Grand Canyon, please make note of this fun fact, as it will save you from being 55 minutes late for your reservation when you thought you were 5 minutes early.

The Big Idea
We set out to create a fun place to eat great food, served by really friendly people, in a relaxifying atmosphere, surrounded by cool art & good music. Simple.
We want our place to be a spot where you can come and have a wonderful time after a fantastic day of hiking, a long day of driving, or a lazy, waste-lots-of-time-doing-nothin' day & find an oasis of enjoyment for your senses. We like the people who come through our doors to slow down, chill out & exhale. Sit down. Listen. Look around. Shut off that annoying cell phone. Stow the Crackberry. Enjoy your meal. Don't rush. Smile.
Smile again, because we're trying to do our part to make the planet happy. We compost 100% of our veggie waste. Our menu is printed on 100%
recycled copy paper. We serve water on request only to help conserve The West's MOST valuable resource.
And any water you do leave in your glass, as well as the ice melt from the kitchen, goes outside to make our plants happy & healthy. We recycle a large portion of our cardboard boxes as packing material when shipping art. We've also added a motion sensor to the lights in the gallery so they don't stay on all the time if nobody's up there.
At home, our garage door has been successfully insulated with the styrofoam sheets that come in our fresh buffalo shipments and we're starting on the walls & roof. We'll also be happy to give you the cardboard six pack holder for Polygamy Porter, so you don't have to get on the plane with the empty bottle.
Victor saves all the wine corks for the "house" he wants to build. Vicky is collecting all the candle wax for "the mother of all candles"(to go in the cork house, we think).
